Description
Amon stared disgustedly at the ball of water in his left hand, gripping his mask tightly in his right. "I don't understand," he said, bending the water to rise, fall and flow. "You should be enraged. You should feel betrayed." Tears began to fall from his eyes. Guilt-ridden, he avoided eye contact with the Lieutenant. "Doesn't it make you reconsider how you feel? Don't you hate bending?"
The Lieutenant placed his hand against Amon's back, looking down at him. "Yes, I hate bending, but this would never make me reconsider my feelings," he answered. "...Because I love you more than I hate it."
This happened as a lighting practice. And then I decided I need a story behind it.
